General Description
Vials need to be inspected are conveyed to infeed screw through conveying device, then are separated through screw and sent to infeed starwheel. While the Vials are running with the starwheel, there is a surface inspection station which takes photos to check the sealing part quality of Vials . Then the Vials will be sent to interior inspection station. When entering each inspection station, Vials rotate in high speed then stop quickly, interior inspection image system adopts to-and-from trace structure, when Vials are rotating in high speed and conveying, image system is moving forward synchronously, when Vials stopping rotating, the liquid will keep rotating and then image system will take photo to Vials immediately, and will back to initial position after photographing, for trace movement of next inspection. The inspection light source of first group is from the bottom of Vials, the second is from the side of Vials, and the third one is from the bottom of Vials. After inspected by above each station, Vials are sent to outfeed starwheel and negative pressure vacuum rejection device. When the Vials is qualified, rejection device will stop, Vials will be send to qualified product channel by starwheels; when Vials are unqualified, the rejection device will work, Vials will be sent to unqualified product channel by starwheels. The whole inspection is finished.
Functional Description
Detection process is the use of machine visual methods to identify whether the detected liquid exists foreign body. Vials or vials need to be inspected of each detection station rotate along the axis with high speed. The liquid in the Vial rotate with it, driving away the foreign body and with the liquid rotating up. After suddenly stop, the foreign body will continue rotate in the liquid in inertial motion. At this point, industrial camera will capture a sequence of images. Based on sequential images in time and space continuity, these images are analyzed through image processing techniques and be sorted according to the color, shape and trajectory. Inspection process: waiting for inspection → infeed → enter inspection area → rotate → stop → take pictures → software detection → sorting.Visual method's requirement to mechanical platform and visual detection is very high, but can get more information and what's more, the detection is more comprehensive and accurate.
